Operational details
Restaurants use Scan2Plate to configure menu items, tables, QR links, payment settings, bills, KOT, inventory, staff workflows, support tickets, and reports. Customer information should be collected only when needed to place an order, track service, issue a bill, or provide support.

Common Questions
Where is restaurant data stored?
Restaurant orders, menus and settings are held in Google Firebase, with access controlled per restaurant account. Each restaurant's records are separate, and staff accounts see only what their role allows rather than everything under one shared login.
Who can see my restaurant's sales figures?
Accounts you create, according to the role you give them. A waiter taking orders does not see the day's takings or settings. Because each staff member has an individual login rather than a shared one, removing access when somebody leaves does not require changing a password for everyone.
Are payments handled by Scan2Plate?
Online payments are processed by the payment provider, not held here. Scan2Plate records which mode a bill was settled by and the amount, so your reports reconcile against what the provider reports.
What happens to my data if I stop subscribing?
It is not deleted when a subscription lapses, and a failed payment keeps access through a grace period rather than cutting billing off mid-service. Export what you need for your accounts before closing an account permanently.
